Brian wishes to express his sincerest condolences to the Amy, Max, Lucas, and the entire Hawthorne family. Paul had complications this morning and passed away from heart failure. 

Paul was instrumental in guiding Brian during the beginning of his career at Wireimage. His jovial demeanor and talent with the camera will be sorely missed on the line by Brian and all of the NYC photographers who knew him.

The Photographer Project (http://www.brianach.com/The_Photographer_Project.html), started in December to raise funds for Paul and his family, will continue full-speed ahead in Paul's honor.
