Magician David Blaine, who shot a TV special in Haiti in 1999, is working with the Red Cross to raise funds for Haitian earthquake victims by performing his unique brand of street magic for 72 hours non-stop, starting Friday, 9 a.m. in Times Square. Blaine is encouraging New Yorkers and visitors to the city to donate to the Red Cross.
The fundraising is taking place on Military Island, West 43rd Street & Broadway, in Times Square, New York City.
